Which files does Isovio read?
STEP files (.step, .stp) from any CAD system – AP203, AP214 and AP242. One part per file; split assemblies in your CAD first.
Which parts can Isovio draw?
Sheet metal parts (bent and flat, with flat pattern), milled parts and turned parts. Isovio recognises the kind by itself.
Are my models uploaded?
No. Isovio runs entirely on your PC. Only when you sign in and once a week does the app ask the licence server – without any model data.
Does Isovio work without internet?
Yes. After activation Isovio checks the licence offline. For PCs without any internet there is activation by request file.
Which standards does Isovio follow?
Among others ISO 128 (representation), ISO 129-1 (dimensioning), ISO 1101 (geometrical tolerances), ISO 2768 (general tolerances), ISO 286 (fits), ISO 13715 (edges), ISO 21920 (surface), ISO 5457 (sheet sizes) and DIN 6935 (flat pattern).
What does Isovio cost?
Isovio Draw costs CHF 690 per seat and year, with Isovio Edit CHF 1080. The licence does not renew automatically.
How does the trial work?
Download Isovio and start it – 30 days with every feature. During this time drawings carry the watermark «Trial version».
What is a seat?
A seat is a PC on which Isovio is activated with your account. When you change PCs, free the old seat in the customer area or in the app.
How do I pay?
Online by card via Stripe, one of the largest payment providers. We never see your card details. For companies we issue an invoice on request.
Are updates included?
Yes, all updates during the licence term are included. You always find the current version in the customer area.
Does Isovio run on Mac or Linux?
Isovio is built for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). On a Mac it runs in a Windows environment such as Parallels.
Can I use my own title block and logo?
Yes. Company name, logo, drafter, material and general tolerances are set once – they appear on every drawing.
