Cost estimate: what does the part cost, what the assembly?
While you design, the guide price per piece is shown at the bottom. From the whole assembly Isovio calculates a guide price: material and bar plan, fabrication, standard parts, logistics and assembly, with the key figures from the model.
What it does
- Guide price per piece live from material, laser, bending and setup according to your machine profile, with a breakdown and batch size, live in the status bar.
- Cost whole assemblies material and bar plan, sawing, drilling, threads, standard parts, surface, transport and assembly.
- Key figures from the model weight, parts, bolted joints, workshop and assembly hours.
- Output saw list, CSV and the costing as a PDF.
- Your master data rates and assumptions are set in the settings.
Who it is for
For sheet metal fabricators, steel and metal construction, frames and fixtures: anyone who quotes parts and assemblies and wants to know early where the costs are.
Good to know
Formerly two modules (Costing & DFM, Assembly costing), now one extension. The manufacturability check (DFM) now belongs to Bending Pro. A guide price from the model and your master data, not a binding quote.
Not for sale yet: already usable in the trial
Cost estimate for assemblies & parts is an extension to Isovio Design & Draw and cannot be bought yet. In the 30-day Isovio trial it is usable with every feature; with a Design & Draw licence every extension can also be tried once for 30 days.
